Mixing and Feeding Directions
Tizwhiz Select Rabbit Pellets are complete nutritionally
and additional feeding of hay and grain is not necessary.
The feeding recommendations are for rabbits of New Zealand
size. For other breeds adjust for size.
Gestation: First 2 weeks feed once a day 3 - 4oz.
per doe. gradually increase feed to 6oz. during last 2 weeks
before kindling. Normal gestation is 31 days.
Lactation: First 2 days feed 3oz. of rabbit pellets
per day. Gradually increase feed by adding 1oz. per day until
feed level is sufficiently for satisfactory maintenance.
Doe at Weaning: Reduce the rabbit pellets to 3 - 4oz.
enough to keep in good condition.
Buck: Feed once a day 3 - 4oz. or enough to keep him
in good condition.
Young Rabbits and Breeding Stock: Self feed until
proper weight and condition is obtained.
