Show Animal Care
- Feed lambs in pairs or groups if possible.
- Develop a feeding schedule and stick with it.
- De-worm your lamb early in the feed program.
- Always provide clean, fresh water.
- Feed by weight, not volume.
- Make ration changes gradually.
- Develop average daily gain objectives and weigh your lamb
regularly.
- Feed 18% complete show lamb with a minimum of 15% (.5lb)
good quality hay.
